At Van Andel Institute, a leading national life sciences research center, Fifth Discipline worked with the VAI team to:
- help manage their explosive growth by implementing a new collaborative software platform called pmPoint (for more info see www.brightwork.com), forming the basis of an enterprise PMO
- manage the configuration and deployment of the IT infrastructure for their expanded Phase II building
- design, customize and deploy a state-of-the-art self-service Supply Center, allowing researchers and lab technicians 24x7 access to supplies without direct Procurement support.
- implement a Total Rewards system on their intranet, allowing at-a-glance personalized views of consolidated employee benefits and perks
At Spectrum Health, recently named as a Top Ten Health Care System in the US, we worked with their Corporate Marketing and Communications and IT teams to:
- manage the design and deployment of their new Consumer Portals www.devoschildrens.org and www.spectrum-health.org. The sites went live on schedule in June and October 2009 respectively and have received awards for their design and innovation.
- lead the design and deployment of their new Employee Portal using SharePoint’s latest version, SharePoint 2010, to deliver self-service applications, dynamic content, a Unified News Center, and collaborative technologies.
At Hitachi-High Tech America, an international producer of semi-conductors and other high-tech products, Fifth Discipline is helping them:
- adopt project management best practices allowing for better team collaboration and task management, customizing and implementing pmPoint and implement an enterprise dashboard for IT projects to keep stakeholders apprised of key project status.
